Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai mara Pick up from your hotel or airport and commence the drive to Masai Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. You will arrive in time for lunch and In the afternoon after you check in depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at your preferred lodge. Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildbeeste migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the the wonder of the world.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara Reserve Spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sitted at the banks of Mara river. Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. An overnight at the Masai village can be organized upon request. A balloon safari at USD 380 per person can be organised early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 3: Depart Maasai Mara to Nakuru You will enjoy the last early morning game drive in Mara Reserve followed by breakfast. Thereafter commence the drive to Nakuru

Day 4: Nakuru to Lake Naivasha You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7am to straight to the park. Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos . The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you depart on a 3-hour drive back to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Day 5: Hell's Gate to Nairobi Breakfast at the resort and at 7 am, drive to Hell's Gate for biking tour and visit to the gorges. At around 11 am, drive to Taphe Guest Resort for lunch and thereafter drive back to Nairobi with drop off at your hotel or airport

TIPS ON WHAT TO CARRY AND DO'S AND DONT'S OF A KENYA SAFARI

Remember that Kenya has a tropical climate. You should prepare yourself for a wide variety of conditions that may include dust, and wet, hot and/or cool weather. Put careful thought into your preparations and pack accordingly depending on your reason for traveling to Kenya and the activities you intend to participate in.

Furthermore, make certain that your luggage can withstand harsh conditions as well, particularly if you intend to travel to different parts of the country. You also need to keep the requirements of the airline you will be flying with in mind. And don't forget to leave some space to bring back gifts!

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A deposit of 50% of total safari cost is required at the time of booking for firm confirmation and the balance to be paid at least 2 weeks to the travel date. Payment by paypal attracts 4% paypal processing fees charged For wire transfer, please include bank charges applicable fees from your end.

Safari cancellation policy

In the event alteration, amendment or cancellation on a booking, penalties will applies as below: 30- 60 days prior to commencement of trip: 80% refund of the total price 30 – 15 days prior to commencement of trip: 50% refund of the total price 15 – 7 days prior to commencement of trip: 30 % refund of the total price Less than 7 days and no show: Between 5% and 15% of the total price depending with the refund we get on the park fees. Safari price Included are all expenses in respect of safari vehicle and driver guide as per itinerary, meals while on Safari, entrance fees to National parks and game reserves, Our assistance at any point. Safari transport Minivan safari vehicles, and 4 x 4 land cruiser jeep with pop up roof will be provided depending on the tour program/itinerary and number of tour participants. Safari accommodation Based on two persons sharing in a twin room / tent. Single rooms are provided at an additional cost (single room supplement). Hotel /lodges / tented camps are named as an indication of category and accommodation may be reserved at same standard hotels/lodges /tented camps. In this case, you shall be notified on your safari accommodation in advance. Alteration to tours The company reserves the right to alter arrangements or cancel the operation of a scheduled tour should conditions necessitate. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at anytime, in which case an equitable amount will be refunded. Price are based on tariffs and other operational costs prevailing at the time of printing. Liability The company and its agents act only as agents of the tours, transport, etc. and shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss or damage in any manner.
